Warranty and Troubleshooting
Warranty and troubleshooting services are provided to all BZ customers at no charge during the warranty period. Outside the warranty period, troubleshooting will be charged at the BZ base labor rate plus travel costs.
In most cases, troubleshooting can be done from the BZ home office using the VPN function of the BZ software. This allows for rapid response and minimal travel expense but can only be done with your IT professional’s permission.
Non-BZ Sensor Solutions Integration
The BZ Control Center Interface is able to integrate with most standard sensors, but in some cases, individual sensors may need some customization of the BZ Integration and Configuration software to provide all capabilities. Normal customization is done in less than a week, assuming this is a joint development. Information about the sensor is made available to the BZ team. All work is charged at the BZ base labor rate at the Huntsville, Alabama facility, for only the hours worked.
Field Integration
As a full system integrator, BZ not only designs sensors and communication equipment, we install and test it as well. We limit our field integration to our products and our integrated systems.Not all sensors that work with the BZ Command Center are BZ products, but, once these products are integrated into the BZ Command Center, our installers can successfully integrate them in the field. Integration efforts are normally scheduled when the product order is placed to ensure that a team is available.
All integration work is charged at the BZ base labor rate plus travel and any non-BZ furnished materials.
Demonstrations
The easiest way to see the full scope of benefits provided by the BZ Command Center is to see a live demonstration. Our products sell themselves when they are being showcased in the field.
- Demonstrations are conducted at no cost for BZ business development representatives and teaming partners.
- Demonstrations are only conducted when both a Non-Disclosure Agreement and a task specific teaming agreement with assigned BZ work share are in place at the Huntsville, AL office.
- All free demos are conducted at the Huntsville site.
- Representatives will be responsible for both the customer display and an interface to the World Wide Web.
- Representative and teaming partners that require demonstrations at a customer site will be charged for travel and shipping expense, but they will not be charged for BZ labor.
- Demonstrations conducted for non-representatives or companies without a teaming agreement will be done at the BZSS base labor rate regardless of location and the cost of shipping and travel will be added to the labor billing.
- No demonstrations will be conducted without a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement on file in Huntsville from all companies attending the demonstration.
